Leesburg -- Gi4 LLC, a trusted provider of professional services and information technology (IT) solutions, was awarded a subcontract to Insignia Technology Services in support of their Region 6 – Employee Education System (EES) IT Services contract. EES is the Veterans Health Administration's national provider of both accredited and un-accredited continuing clinical and non-clinical education. The technology infrastructure is supported by VA's Office of Information and Technology through this important contract.
In this role, Gi4 provides network management and engineering support for the Region 6 infrastructure, including the design and maintenance of the Wide Area Network and Local Area Network (WAN/LAN). This network serves as the backbone for training content delivery, and includes router and switch management which EES has installed at VA facilities across the country to distribute live VA Knowledge Network (VAKN) broadcasts.

The technology stack consists of Cisco routers, VMware servers and NetApp Storage Attached Network devices. This powerhouse system hosts and delivers stores a vast array of clinical training media. The system has components across the Continental US, and includes offsite disaster recovery services.
